Alternative Dispute Resolution in accordance with Art. 14 (1) ODR-VO and § 36 VSBG:

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS) which is accessible at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged nor willing to participate in dispute settlement proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

For interviewees of any of our issues, we hereby lay out our terms and conditions and kindly ask you to read the following before we start interviews.

Payment

We do not and will not pay for interviews or portraits or any other feature based on interviews and conversations. This goes against any Codes of Ethics in journalism and hinders authenticity and credibility. We also do not reimburse travel costs. We compensate featured art works, in which case we will agree on pricing before starting work.

Code of Conduct

We strongly condemn any form of racism, antisemitism, homophobia, and any form of discrimination. Should we as CONTU notice any of this conduct, we reserve the right to not go further with any interviews or take out the feature entirely.

Complimentary Copies

Unless stated otherwise before we start our interviews, we do not send complimentary copies due to the sheer volume and postages inland and oversees as well. For us as a very small business this is unfortunately not feasible yet. We will provide you with the PDF version of our magazine issue. Freelancers featuring illustrations or similar art work, designers and proof readers will receive their copy. This decision is at the discretion of the management.
